PINESKY 41 Inch Longboard: Trucks

The trucks are a critical aspect of a longboard since they determine its longevity and turnability.

Longboards that will be used daily for transportation should have trucks between 6 and 9 inches in diameter to ensure a better response, necessary for your daily commute.

Now, this stylish longboard comes with 8-inch thick aluminum trucks.

Turning and sliding are pretty smooth, and you won’t hear any rattling sound or creaking while riding this longboard. These trucks provide a considerable weight capacity, too:

PINESKY 41 inch longboard can carry up to 330 pounds of weight, which is pretty decent for a longboard.

PINESKY 41 Inch Longboard: Deck

PINESKY 41 Inch Longboard deck

Usually, longboards with a more extended deck will be a bit more stable - but potentially less maneuverable. If you’re looking for better stability, you should go for a longer deck and a larger wheelbase.

If you’re going to ride your longboard on longer distances, you might want to get one that is 40 inches long - or even more - to provide a more stable ride.

PINESKY 41-inch longboard features a massive deck that’s comfortable to stand on, especially for beginners.

Remember that deck size is crucial. A significant amount of the rider’s stability depends on it - and most people will make this a deciding factor in their purchase.

Due to its long and expansive deck, PINESKY 41 inch longboard is easy to manage - beginners will find it easy to maintain balance on this longboard. The deck’s dimensions are 41 x 9.5 inches.

It's relaxing and comfortable to ride since you essentially get a spacious platform to place your feet on - and just blast away.

Eight layers of natural maple that are cold-pressed make the deck pretty durable - although I’m not sure it would withstand years of use. Still, the use of environmentally-friendly materials adds a nice touch to it.

The bottom side of this longboard features a uniquely colorful and stylish design - and while looks aren’t everything, it’s certainly a welcome addition.

PINESKY 41 Inch Longboard: Wheels

PINESKY 41 Inch Longboard: Wheels

For daily commuting, you should get a longboard that has slightly larger wheels; it’s all about going faster and going about your day more efficiently.

The ideal size for the longboard wheels is between 65 and 70 millimeters in diameter. On top of that, the wheels should be soft enough to roll over bumps and cracks you may encounter during your ride.

Does this longboard meet the criteria?

PINESKY 41-inch longboard features high-elastic, 70-millimeter polyurethane wheels. These wheels proved a decent amount of cushioning.

In addition, PINESKY’s wheels are rated with 80A hardness. They will turn effortlessly and will go over every obstacle with ease. The soft wheels won’t make any unwanted sound, meaning you’ll be able to enjoy a quiet ride.

However, when you unbox your PINESKY 41-inch longboard, you’ll notice that the wheels are a bit tight. So, in order to enjoy the ride on this longboard, you’ll have to make some adjustments to the wheels by yourself - or ask a professional for help.

It’s not a deal-breaking downside, but it’s something to consider, nonetheless.

PINESKY 41 Inch Longboard: Size

You’ll be carrying your longboard more than you think. For example, when crossing the street or having to climb some stairs - things like that.

PINESKY 41 Inch size

Your longboard needs to be lightweight so it can be easily portable. Additionally, you might need to store your longboard in a small closet or under your bed, for example. Therefore, you’ll need a compact longboard that can be stored without too much hassle.

Instead of going for longboards that are too long, you should be aiming at one that is medium in length - between 35 and 45 inches.

The PINESKY 41 inch longboard’s size falls into this category - not too big and not too small. It has a perfect size for daily commute around the town as well as for some freestyle and downhill riding.

Also, PINESKY 41 inch longboard is relatively light, so you won’t have a problem carrying it, either.

PINESKY 41 Inch Longboard: Bearings

This longboard comes equipped with ABEC 11 chrome steel bearings, making it an excellent choice for some faster riding. All in all, there’s some decent craftsmanship bearings-wise on this longboard - but there’s not much else to say about it.
